Noodlescape v2 replaced the Noodlescape Mainland on Friday, September 18, 2009 at around 6:00 PM (GMT +8).
The original goal for Noodlescape v2 was to provide a platform where several people could broadcast on several topics rapidly (sort of like TechCrunch for everything).

When NSv2 was born it was given a “quick start”:
ChristopherSu.net (Christopher Su’s personal blog) was migrated over as “Live Wire”
Brawl.Noodlescape.com was migrated over as “Final Destination”
Noodlescape.com (v1) was moved into the “Mainland” of v2
Swizchese’s Blog (originally at u2s’s H1ve) was migrated over as “Da Swiz Corner”
Video Gamers HQ (Originally a blogger blog, then later a section of the Mainland) was moved into it’s own v2 section
