Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas to all, whether or not you be Christian! What matters is the presents, right? …Right?
Anyways, I’m not sure about Admin, but I’ve got some announcements to bunch up with this post. Not that they were made especially for your Christmasy pleasure, but it’s definitely some things you might want to enjoy during your winter break.
So, how about the newest addition to the Spades site, the Three of Spades? It’s a Pokemon adoption system created by Admin himself. Feel free to adopt Pokemon and have your friends click on them to level them up! You may be expecting a special promo-addition egg popping up sometimes soon as well… For now, you can help by clicking (and leveling up) the following Pokemon!
Interestingly enough, there is no Two of Spades, and this “special” adoption system is not found on the front page of Spades. And for those who enjoy Pokemon, Noodlescape’s Shoddy Battle server might go up 24/7, with the possibility of going v2.
Another addition to Spades is the design forum Oekaki, which, by the way, means “scribble” in Japanese. Over here you can post your images and have people rate and comment on them! If you think you’ve got the talent but not the guts to show a gazillion people, have a start a Oekaki.
Although the forum has not been booming as it has been at its apex, it has seen more activity over the past couple weeks. Notable activity occurs in the Age of Empires III section and the Call of Duty 4 Section. Since Modern Warfare 2 rose from the mists of anticipation, Call of Duty 4 for the Mac gaming generation has kindled again. And with the advent of the Mac Asian Dynasties, many Noodlescape members have been posting about it. How about checking each new Hall of Game? You can find the CoD4 oneĀ here and the AOE III one here.
Still craving for more Noodlescape-related activity? How about checking out the Noodlescape Maze or the Redundantly Redundant “Shout” page on Spades? Unfortunately, I’m a gamer, not a coder or design artist, so I can’t bring you any digital present for good cheer. But, Admin might be able to do so, so keep your eggnog at your side and your Santa hat near your computer! All in all, have a happy Christmas, and a MERRY New Year!

Thanks for the brilliant post Swiz! (and sorry for the late response, I haven’t had internet access for days and I tried to comment via iPhone + 3G but Mobile Safari has some problems with our comment form). You really deserve some noodles for this post. I’m planning to launch another thread for counting down on New Years (like last year). If you want you can create it (feel free to copy parts out of last year’s edition). Email me if you want to do it.
Oekaki is like our own 4chan! xp
