Second Weekly aWoT Contest

by gh584 on November 20, 2008

in A Waste of Time

Hello, all, and welcome to our second weekly aWoT contest! This contest has been split into two parts, and only one winner will receive a prize. Don’t ask me about the “weekly” thing until you read the notes (named NOTE * etc etc) at the end…

The first part involves finding out certain things about aWoT, which should be accessible to everyone within the next week (meaning that it is possible).

Post the answers… btw don’t go asking other people for it- it spoils the fun.

Question 1: What are the coordinates of Kalle and what is the required TP?

Question 2: At what level are you able to access Kalle by the Travel To menu

Question 3: What are the best weapons, armors, and shields in Kalle? What are their prices?

Question 4: What are the coordinates of Narcissa and how much TP is required to get there?

Final Question: Is it possible for a level 1 player to reach EndWorld?

Part 2: I’ll be nice to you guys- you don’t have to do the hard part :D

Prize: 1500 gold (may change)- ONLY ONE WINNER- the first person to comment with correct answer wins.

NOTE: You may only post ONE answer; the contest is open until Thursday, the 27th of November.

NOTE 2: This contest has been released early so that we may begin a proper pattern of release “days”, namely, releasing these contests every Thursday (after a great debate of whether to have it on Thursdays or Fridays).

NOTE 3: Technically this is the first weekly contest, as the last one was on Tuesday… or something… whatever.

Happy Wasting,

Jun Yen

No way- :D you have a week- Question 4 and 5 can be solved- question 4 requires 500 gold, right? but the prize is 1500… question 5 is pure logic and reasoning.

I’m also sure I told you the prices of the stuff in kalle during school at the potluck thing… remember i was bragging about… *sights* fine… HINT TO EVERYONE- Dark axe, iron plate, and you now don’t have to answer the shield part of question 3

ok… OH YEAH I REMEMBER NOW :D :D:D:D:D sort of
Question 1: Kalle = 100S, 100E, required 30 TP

Question 2: Level 12, because in your guide you mention that you had 31 TP, and you also mentioned that you bought all the cool stuff in Kalle, AND you also mentioned that the prime reason to train near Bris is to get to level 12 and buy that stuff. >:D

Question 3: Dark Axe and Iron Plate… I know Dark Axe costs 3000, and the Small Shield, Dark Axe, and Iron Plate all together costs 5500… can you wait a bit longer for me to finish this question please? thanks :D

Question 4: Narcissa = 130S, 130W, requires 50 TP

Question 5: No, it is not possible. Many people may assume that you can simply walk there, because you can run from any monster in the game, but they miss one simple factor – a monster that hits before you are ready. I am level 8 and the monsters north of Roma constantly hit before me. I’m pretty sure it’s a matter of a stat. Anyways, the closer you get to Endworld, the more powerful the monster, and soon enough, every monster will be able to kill you in 1 shot if it attacks first, which is probably 100% as you get closer.

And it’s also not possible to avoid a monster event for 500 steps.

Close enough- that is all the info I gave out- Swizchese is this weeks winner (fast?). I will send him his prize…

NOTE: Question 5: The answer is “no” but your reason is not exactly correct. I still gave it to you, but in the game, it is “Endworld” and not “EndWorld”. Therefore, “EndWorld” does not exist and it is impossible to get there-

CONTEST CLOSED- WINNER: Swizchese
PRIZE: 1000 gold (since you got it so fast it must have been too easy (sorry) ).
NOTE: Next one will be harder- this one was too easy…

P.S.: Technically, it should be POSSIBLE to avoid that monster for 500 steps… just very, very, very, unlikely to the power of 3000 or something…

P.P.S.: I may not be able to get you the gold immediately, as my own gold stock needs help… HINT: next contest MAY include the weapon sets of Narcissa… I just got it (yay).

Just sent 1250 gold to Swizchese
The post states 1500
but you said 1000
so I just averaged hehe *headscratch*
Swizchese: I added it to your bank gold because last contest people were complaining that I went them large amounts of gold while they were in dangerous territory.

I said 1000 because he got it too easily- 1500 is waaay too much for 10 minutes or so of work.

How is this relevant to the contest? Wait… How is my comment related to the contest? We should have an “everyday life” section, and be sure to make a password protected section for concordia users :D

Good Idea….
WordPress enables individual posts to be password protected. I’m now sure about entire categories though.

I’m a bit worried about the new star thing… shouldn’t we have a limit to how many stars we get (like 10) so we don’t flood the page with these stars?

lol… I think you should make a password protected post, which links to the new posts… just put the new posts on a separate website
